Welcome to Torre Aquila
The fresco of the Cycle of the Months at Torre Aquila in Trento's Buonconsiglio
Castle represents a unique expression of late Gothic European art. Commissioned
by Bishop George of Liechtenstein in the 1400s, the fresco depicts with
great detail and accuracy the lives of medieval aristocracy and peasantry
throughout the course of a year.
PEACH is developing an interactive tour guide that will allow the visitor
to experience the fresco by independently navigating throughout the various
events and activities that are depicted. We have provided a prototype
of our tour guide in our web site, which you are welcome to try
out.
